In this article is presented a proposal for a telephone
system that integrates voice over IP technology
using the Cisco Unified Communications Manager
platform in its version 11. The system emerges as a
proposal to solve the problems presented by the
systems with analogue telephony that are currently
used in different hotel complexes, such as the high
costs of telecommunication services, limitation of
physical and logical infrastructure scalability,
security problems and maintenance complexity.
Also are shown the characteristics of the system, the
parts that compose it, and the stages of its
implementation, as well as the benefits that it offers.
