Sistema de Movilidad para el Transporte Público Urbano, en Acapulco de Juárez

Abstract

Acapulco is one of the most important tourist
destinations in Mexico, but unfortunately it does not
have information about its urban public transport
service. Today there is no platform with recent
information for tourists about the available public
transport routes. For this reason, a mobile application
was developed that provides this information to
tourists and residents of the port to speed up transfers
using digitized maps that promote mobility in the
port. It also allows you to know schedules, prices and
compare route costs. This mobile application has a
social, technological, economic, and environmental
impact. For the development, a waterfall
methodology was used that facilitates a sequential
order to carry out the development phases of the
application, the results of which allow obtaining a
prototype, which shows the routes that exist in the
port, the location in real time. of the user, as well as
the schedules and prices of public transport. In
conclusion, this mobile application encourages
movement for tourists and residents of the port,
which will bring benefits for Acapulco, contributing
to the economy of users and people who offer their
services in public transport.
