Abstract

In this research work, it was sought to evaluate the
financial culture of the students of the Technological
Institute of Chilpancingo to design a strategy that
allows to improve the financial culture of the
students. A documentary investigation was carried
out to understand which were the dimensions that
affected financial culture, and to design a strategy
that allows students of the different educational
programs that the institution offers, to improve the
degree of financial culture they possess.
The study hypothesis was: the financial culture of the
students is positively related to the budget
dimensions, attitude towards the future, use of
financial services information, consumption habits
and behaviors, culture of saving and investment,
perception of management finance and responsible
consumption; which, once the corresponding
hypothesis test had been carried out, was accepted.
When evaluating the level of financial culture that the
students had, it was found that they have a good level
on average. And where they need to improve isin the
dimension related to saving and investment and
attitude towards the future.
As part of the strategies, infographics were
developed, as well as the virtual course: Cultivate
your finances and the VIDA method.
