Abstract

There is a recognition of the right to education for
all, however, in reality there are many unequal
societies, which makes this universal purpose
difficult. The problem is more acute in the case of
indigenous women, and even more so in Guerrero,
inasmuch as higher education and postgraduate
education is a privilege for few people
With the aim of reducing discrimination and social
inequality, the Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero,
through CONACyT, implements in 2014 the
"Program of Incorporation of Indigenous Women to
Postgraduate Studies for the Regional Strengthening
of the State of Guerrero", giving indigenous women
the opportunity to study postgraduate studies.
This research aims to analyze the role of the
educational process at the postgraduate level in the
life of indigenous women, as one of the foundations
for achieving their autonomy and thus stop
victimizing them, to recognize the affirmative
actions they are achieving.
