The struggle that women have waged in conquering
the power spaces in the different orders of
government is due to their organizational capacity
to opt for strategies ranging from persuasion to
social mobilization to pressure the political class,
which women can and have the same qualities as
men. This can be seen at the local level the role of
women who only care for the sick, older adults,
procreate and care of children, washing, ironing,
cooking and attending to the husband, among other
tasks, less to politics, for that they are the men who
are in charge of that scene of the dispute for the
power in the different ambits of governments.
This research aims to study the gender situation
from the community perspectives of the exercise of
power in the community of La Ciénega,
