Impact of the experiences in the follow-up of graduates to accredit the Engineering Degree in Business Management of the Technological Institute of Chilpancingo- TECNM

The monitoring study of graduates seeks to
determine whether or not there is congruence and
relevance of the curricula of the Ingeniería en
Gestión Empresarial career at the Instituto
Tecnológico de Chilpancingo (ITCH). Through a
previous study consisting of the application of
surveys (DGEST, 2008), to a sample of 67
graduates of the Ingeniería en Gestión Empresarial
(IGE) in the period January-June 2017. The
information obtained, allowed to know relevant
information on: The profile of the graduate,
curriculum,
infrastructure,
professional
development, job placement of graduates and
acquired competence, during their stay in vocational
training. As well as the professional field in which
they perform, and the skills required by employers
for recruitment, the most commonly used
recruitment source. Among the most relevant results
were found that: 47.8%, have a professional degree,
in terms of infrastructure (resources), graduates said
in 58.2%, that the institution has little resources
with their stay in the institution, while that
employers in 53.8% mentioned that IGE´s have the
necessary skills to perform professionally.
