Abstract

As research group of Tecnológico Nacional de
México, campus Instituto Tecnológico de
Acapulco, one of the pending tasks in the
development of the line of research Teaching
and Learning, has been the strengthening of the
scientific school discipline towards the
functional learning of the basic sciences for the
development of the professional competences
of the biochemical engineer. In particular, this
work shows a first approximation to the study
of the spectrophotometric practice in the school,
basic and recurrent practice in the community
of biochemical engineers. This study identifies
the community, the practice is characterized
and shows the need to attend to the subjectivity
that prevails in the exercise of it. The
theoretical framework on which the research is
based is socioepistemology.
