Abstract

Higher level education, —responsible for promoting
the integration of graduates into productive life— is
an alternative for social mobility and regional
development, however, faces two basic problems
that attend: Your coverage is not total and that its
indicator dropout rate is high. This means that the
promised social mobility is not providing to all and
that offers, a high percentage leaves without
fulfilling the goal of regional development. This
work bases its analysis on the tutoring programs that
are implemented in Higher Education Institutions
and the role optimistic given to them as a possible
solution to the abandonment of university studies.
The reflections analyze the multiple reasons for the
dropout university, show the short remaining
tutorials as a solution if you are not displayed as
part of a more diverse and comprehensive, and
invites to reduce the drop-out rate from before
students enter the university careers.
