Abstract

Over the years, technological innovation has made
significant advances in an important way; and its
accelerated growth is constantly changing. The
competitive society demands the innovation of the
products and processes it demands. All of this drives
a diversity of technologies with different applications,
depending on your field of expertise. Society and
organizations seek to have adequate control and
security where resources, facilities and personnel are
protected; however, there are drawbacks and they
tend to implement automated projects in some cases.
Technological advancement promotes creativity,
competitiveness and improving business and
educational processes, among other tasks in the social
sector.
This research work describes an access control system
design that uses electronic resources with home
automation technologies for the Technological
Institute of Acapulco (ITA), which helps improve the
control, security and integrity of its facilities,
resources and personnel. With this study, preliminary
models were generated with electronic resources and
home automation engineering that allowed decisionmaking;
and at the same time, they facilitated the
acquisition of resources and the preliminary
development of the access control system that records
and manages information in order to protect the
security of the place.
