Student participation is a fundamental aspect of the
teacher academic performance evaluation model
designed in a higher education school in Guerrero
state, Mexico. The article addresses the use of
collaborative work as a way to create an environment
conducive to such participation, and it describes how
the creation of a web system facilitates the capture and
processing of the information contained in an opinion
questionnaire, and provides confidentiality and
flexibility necessary for students to express their
opinion. Finally, some of the results of the teacher
academic performance evaluation obtained based on
the opinion of the students are included.
