Estudio epidemiológico de Aedes spp. y la prevalencia del dengue en la zona centro del Estado de Guerrero, México.

The genus of mosquitoes Aedes spp, constitute the
most important group of insects worldwide from a
medical and veterinary point of view, due to the
hematophagous habit of females, which makes them
one of the most dangerous sanitary pests worldwide,
since they can transmit various pathogens that cause
fatal diseases in man, including Dengue. The aim of
this study was to analyze the epidemiological
parameters that determine the prevalence of dengue
in Chilpancingo Guerrero. The results of the study
allowed us to conclude that the number of eggs is
determined by relative humidity, since there is a
positive and statistically significant correlation
between these two variables (p <0.05) and that the
number of dengue cases is determined by the
reproductive cycle of the mosquito (number of eggs)
since a significant correlation was observed between
these two variables (p<0.05).
