Proceso de formación docente para desarrollar competencias ambientales en estudiantes universitarios de la UAGro

The main cause of environmental problems are
anthropogenic activities, to improve environmental
conditions it is necessary to create awareness in human
beings, Environmental Education is a viable strategy to
train environmentally responsible people. The
objective of this work was to design a teacher training
program on environmental knowledge, curricular
design and transversality to collectively build the
environmental competence of the graduate of the
Bachelor of Science and Information Technologies of
the AUGro in Acapulco. The implemented
methodology was mixed with an action-research
approach, prior to the implementation of teacher
training, a diagnosis of the teachers' perception of
environmental knowledge was applied, based on the
results of the diagnosis, the training proposal was
elaborated so that teachers acquire knowledge, skills,
attitudes and values, as well as methodological
procedures for the transversal integration of
environmental content in their learning unit to
contribute to the training of professionals who have
environmental competencies. Teacher training
processes are necessary to raise awareness of the
importance of integrating these contents into the study
plan and developing the knowledge, skills, attitudes
and values to integrate environmental competence in
the graduate profile.
