This study analyzes the population behavior of the
town of Llanos de Tepoxtepec, Guerrero, the
objective was to know the narratives of their
migration, the processes, support networks and local
identity, which have made it possible to strengthen
the development of the town. A qualitative
methodology was applied, through participant
observation, ethnographic interviews, cartographic
drawings, as well as a photographic record.
Displacement and mobility processes are highlighted
as part of a population adaptation that facilitates the
mobility of young people from the town to work and
continue their studies, seeking to change their
economic situation and have better family and
personal development.
