Abstract

Currently, the planet undergoes great negative
changes, as a result of the human footprint, man in
search of his comfort and a faster life, uses plastic
packaging and other materials that take hundreds or
thousands of years to degrade, added to this the
Population growth greatly multiplies the amount of
waste generated.
Urban Solid Waste Management is a very important
issue for the environment, but it also has great
importance in the social sphere, some delegate the
responsibility of treatment to people, however, others
think that the government is in charge of providing
services that guarantee the correct handling of said
waste.
In this article we will find the legal bases to determine
the degree of responsibility of each party involved, in
addition to a study on the current management, with a
financial analysis of the established fees.
In some developed countries, measures have been
adopted that allow the use of waste, generating jobs,
a better quality of life and, above all, contributing to
the maintenance of the environment.
