Abstract

Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder that mainly
affects behavior, communication and interests of who
suffers it. According to the Centers Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention, the current global
incidence of autism it is 1 in every 68 births.
That is why through the present investigation it seeks
to know what the current situation is that maintains
attention to Autism Spectrum Disorder in the territory
of the State of Guerrero. For this, a quantitative
investigation was carried out, using the survey
technique; which was applied to 50 parents and / or
guardians of people with autism in Guerrero. An
instrument of 7 closed questions is used to survey,
which dealt with the ages, current progress, areas of
greatest benefit, main obstacles, major concerns, and
social sector that has supported the most. With the
answers obtained, the conclusion was reached, that the
progress made in recent years attention to ASD has
been little and insufficient, especially in healthcare
settings, as well as in understanding by society
